M-Windows ......a brief history


The M-Windows series  have been featured 8 shows
Dactly foundation in NYC, The first time that M-Windows, works were shown along side of my films, photos and other works from other exhibitions  including ”Mirror- Mirror” which allowed viewer to see pieces like  “Thunder cutter“ This was my second exhibition in New York City that was part of a sound performance by Crunc Tesla, Rene Lopez while they where being simultaneously show in Houston the LUx Experiment.. Two years later in Miami Basel, he created, the first four works based on the “#4” works were entitled “War Beau” at this show in 2010 Metoyer built a maze, in the center of the maze where placed, a series of the m-windows entitled static, dynamic, immortal, eternal. These works were created in Guizhou, China and assembled in Miami, Florida














In 2010, Metoyer was invited to Memphis, Tenenensee, where he was offered a Residency at the University of Memphis, during his residency, Metoyer created at 13 New works.  Some of those works were featured in the following 2011 Miami Basel, where again Metoyer designed presentation of Sound and M-Windows in a building next door to the Moglases Collection . After a successful show at Basel the M-windows where shown again at the Deborah Colton gallery called “Mixing Medium”. Soon after M-Windows were selected by Philip E. Collins to be shown at the MAC in Dallas, Texas in a exhibition entitled “No one knows my name.”  4 more windows were created  and called “Icon Execution” for a show Curated John Paul Pyor at the Dnami gallery in the Chicago. In 2012 the Deborah Colton gallery hung Anglbert’s show “Levels Forms and Dimensions” where an entire audience could view a decommissioned M-Window, that was the last exhibition the M-Windows appeared in until the Rotterdam Art Fair in 2013.
